As a child, Carroll Ann Day acquired an appreciation for antiques and vintage clothing while spending time shopping with her mother in Pennsylvania and Arizona.  

After high school, she attended The Parsons School of Fashion and Design in New York, where she gained a passion for the art of fashion. Once graduated, her dream of operating an antique store became her life goal.

In September of 2002, she purchased Golden Girls Antique Mall and grew the already established business through her connection with the community and her love of antiques.

Sadly, in April of 2019, Carroll lost a fight to Glioblastoma. That same year, as a promise to keep her dream alive, her good friend Dave Burningham took on full ownership of the thriving business.
